Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota members have access to stop-smoking support. It’s a personalized, phone-based program. Many Blue Cross members also have coverage for some quit-support medications as part of their regular pharmacy benefit.

Most Minnesota residents have access to stop-smoking phone counseling through their health plan. Those who have no health insurance, or whose insurance does not cover quitting assistance, are eligible to participate in the statewide program.
